NOW! Lets Be Practical...
I am just a 23-year-old ordinary guy from Nigeria and have been a victim of tremendous fear in this internet jungle.
This entire article relates to my feelings, fear, frustration, confusion and tears for the last three years. And it is quite possible you might be at the same place where I was.
No guidance, no help, no advice, all alone in this jungle. My biggest fear was of financial loss, which when comes to internet can be as fast as water flows from a tap. And I know this fear exists in thousands of newbies.
I am committed to help you, and get you out of this internet jungle. The only requirement is your hardwork and a will to succeed.
I wish you all the very best in this internet jungle and pray for your success. Until next time, a well wisher and a caring friend, Asoma.

How to Wake Up Eager to Start

When you jump out of bed every morning, all fired up with enthusiasm, motivation and eagerness to... Huh?
What's that? You don't do much jumping in the mornings?
Well, okay, when you ease out of bed every morning, all eager and enthusiastic to... Huh?
What's that? You don't do that either?
Well, okay, when you're lying there in bed every morning wondering why the heck you should bother to get up...
Does your mind flash on all the things you'll get to do today, or is it filled with all the things you've GOT to do today?
What's the difference, you ask? Aw c'mon, any ten-year-old kid can answer that one. It's the difference between waking up thinking "It's Christmas Day" or thinking "I've got Final Exams today."
And face it, most of us live as though we're facing final exams every single day. Each sunrise brings more battles, more struggles, more dogged trudging, more frustrated attempts to deal with our chronic burdens.
Meanwhile, a few happy folks really do wake up eager. They're rarin' to go as soon as the light hits their eyeballs. But how do they do that? What's their secret?
Would you believe they don't have any secret? They just find it in their heart to love what's happening to them. Even the so-called "bad" stuff is treated with respect and dealt with as a potential learning experience -- something to profit from -- maybe even fun (with slight adjustments in attitude).
But they don't make any secret of it. What they do is right out there for the rest of the world to see. The only trouble is, the rest of the world is terribly busy not seeing. Not seeing the sunshine around them that so completely fills the lives of the eager-awakeners.
Those living in the darkside are tuned in to the dim, gloomy, depressing aspects of every event. Every day brings them the exact same occurrences that their bright-side neighbors receive, but since they're stuck in the dark-side, they must experience it all in shadows.
You have a radio, right? And when you turn the knob, the station changes. All those programs, every one of them, is in the air around you. But when you dial the radio, you're selecting just one from among all those thousands of signals.
And when you wake up in the morning, your dial can be set wherever you want it. Happy; sad; eager; dreading; energetic.
So is your mental dial stuck on station K-R-A-P or K-O-O-L? On W-O-R-M or W-A-R-M?
If you're not quite satisfied with the daily programming you're receiving, it's not that hard to change it.
No kidding... it's not. But you do have to do it yourself. Nobody -- I mean nobody -- is going to come in and reset your dial for you.
Now, you've read enough pos-think books and listened to enough tapes, you have a pretty good idea how this works. Let's stop kidding ourselves. You do know WHAT to do. But you haven't had much success with it. But there's one thing in all those techniques you're NOT doing.
When you do your spiritual exercies, whatever form you select, you get up afterwards and go about your day looking for signs that it's working.
And when you don't immediately see those signs, you start wondering why it's not working.
BBZZZZZZT! Wrong move.
Instead, you're supposed to be thinking how thankful you are that it IS WORKING, even though you don't see anything yet. You fill your mind with strong thoughts about what you want.
Now isn't that simple?
But it'll sure make a difference in the way you wake up every morning.

Discover The Magic Of Doing What You Love

Do what you love to do and give it your very best. Whether it's business or baseball, or the theater, or any field. If you don't love what you're doing and you can't give it your best, get out of it. Life is too short. You'll be an old man before you know it.Al Lopez
Since childhood we are coerced to follow the conventional path. Along the way, through happy accidents we discover small pockets of doing what we love. Unfortunately, due to the tremendous strength of our conditioning, we relegate our attention to doing what we must to survive.
Only twice have I met people who have done what they loved and both events shook me to the core. Inspiration is watching someone doing what they love.
The first time, I was introduced to a dentist. My mother had sent me to see him because I was about to graduate from high school and I wanted to choose a profession for college. She had been a patient of the dentist and had been highly impressed by him.
The dentist showed me around his office. It was evening, and the office had closed. He was so enthusiastic that I could barely follow along. He showed me a variety of instruments, he showed me textbook after textbook of the most horrific dental conditions and rhapsodized about how dentistry could fix them, and-he showed me what it is like to be happy.
The second time, I was introduced to a surgeon. Unfortunately, I was his patient. This man used to be a general practitioner, and then fell in love with surgery. He just loved helping people. Besides saving my life, he also showed me the power of doing what you love. He was always laughing, joking, and appeared to be having the time of his life.
Both these men enjoyed tremendous wealth and success. I met them socially, too, and learned more about them. Life and joy just emanated from them. They were the most charming and amazing people in any social setting. Their charisma emanated from doing what they loved all day long.
If you're not doing what you love, then you're at the wrong place, with the wrong people, and doing the wrong thing. Your life is heavy with repressed desire. And the weight of your unlived life will not let you have a moment of true spontaneity.
But--how do we just throw away the entire fabric of what we consider our safety and plunge into doing what we love? How do we probe past the layers of self-denial that have what we love to do?
There are three things to do to live your life on your own terms doing what you love.
The first is to spend some time in introspection and find what you love to do.
The second is to begin where you're at to do it. Do it as recreation if you don't have an outlet. The main thing to do is to let it happen.
The third thing is to let it expand by itself to fill your life. Your skills will improve, your hobby will attract opportunity, and one day, you'll find the joy of living your life the way you want and be a blessing to all those around you.

3 Ways To Keep Children Safe From Household Allergens

Research shows an increase in the number of children being diagnosed with allergies each year. A noticeable rise began in the 1960's and '70's, although it is unclear whether the increase is due to improved diagnostic techniques and medical health coverage or more children experiencing allergic reactions to environmental allergens. Ironically, some studies suggest that kids who live in less-than-perfectly-clean households may have less chance of developing allergies than those who are raised in pristine environments. This may be due to the fact that exposure to a little bit of dirt or dust can help to stimulate an immune response that protects some children from a full-blown allergic response.
To help protect your kids from having a strong response to common allergens, here are a few tips to keep in mind. Although each person and home is different, some experts believe this type of response can reduce the likelihood that your child will react to household allergens like these.
1. Avoid overusing antibacterial soap and harsh household cleaning products. Too much exposure to antibacterial cleaners can lead to the mutation of germs that evade the destructive power of these agents. Thus, new and more potent allergens can develop to threaten your children's health. Household cleaners may have the same effect on bacteria that hides in many areas throughout your home. In addition, the fumes of some products also may trigger an allergic response, further negating the value of such products.
2. Consider keeping a pet. Letting your kids have a cat or dog around the house can help them get used to pet dander that is often the culprit behind some types of childhood allergies. Combing and washing their pet lets them get used to this type of allergen before they encounter it further down the line and run into problems. However, don't use a lot of commercial flea or grooming products on your pet, as these can incite allergic responses probably worse than those brought on by animals.
3. Don't separate kids from dust. Let them sweep and clean their own rooms. Contact with dust and dust mites could help to build up an immune response that will protect kids for years to come. While you don't want them covered in dust or constantly playing in dirt, a little bit of contact that is properly supervised by parents may actually be good for some kids.
There are no guarantees with allergies, of course. Despite a parent's best efforts to protect their child from allergies by either exposing them early in life to typical allergens or making the environment as clean and safe as possible, a child may still develop a runny nose, reactionary sneezes, or itchy eyes in response to something in their environment that may be inciting a response. If your child shows symptoms like these, or others, tell your doctor right away to see if there is something that he or she can do to help your child manage them. Allergic symptoms that are left untreated may eventually develop into asthma.

Cancer - What You Need To Know To Help Avoid Or Fight It

Last week end I went to a "Pink Party" in my local village, where as the name suggests, everyone wore something pink.
The event wasn't so much a party as a lunch to raise awareness of Breast Cancer. The proceeds went to support McMillan Cancer Care Nurses and very successful it was too.
The local flower arranging society gave a demonstration of their skills and the results were raffled off in a draw. There were home made cakes, jams and chutneys to make the Women's Institute proud, a bric-a-brac stall and various other small stalls.
You could buy a drink and a cake, have a light lunch of sandwiches or go for a full meal followed by dessert, plus tea, coffee, or a soft pink juice, and all for a very reasonable price.
It was a great event for a very worthy cause and I was surprised by the amount of men there. Many, it seemed had either lost loved ones to breast cancer or were supporting someone with either that or some other form of cancer.
There are, it seems over 200 different types and, most scientists agree at least 80% are caused by man made toxic synthetic chemicals.
I often receive e-mails from people with requests to forward them to the people I care about and the following is no exception.
Please read it and take note. The information could help save your life, and that of your loved ones.
1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.
2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.
3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.
4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. The causes could be genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle.
5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.
6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.
7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.
8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However, prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation does not result in more tumor destruction.
9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.
10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.
11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.
CANCER CELLS FEED ON:
a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in color. A better alternative is using Bragg's amino or sea salt.
b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened Soya milk cancer cells are being starved.
c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.
d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruitshelp the body to develop into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts)and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes aredestroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).
e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water-best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.
12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrefied and leads to more toxic build-up.
13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.
14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants,vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the bodies own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.
15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer victim become a survivor. Anger, unforgivingness and bitterness put the body into a stressful, acidic environment and enhancing the production of toxins. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life. After all you only have one body. And you only live once.
16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.
